Summary: National Leadership Grants for Museums support projects that address critical needs of the museum field and that have the potential to advance practice in the profession to strengthen museum services for the American public.

Cost share: 1:1 cost share is required for non-research projects. For research projects, cost share is not required.
Application Due Date: November 15, 2024
Allowable Use of funds: Allowable costs include those for both non-research and research projects. Allowable costs include personnel, materials and equipment, participant support costs, program evaluation, staff and volunteer training, overhead, and other program-related costs. Funds for general operating, acquisition, advertising, renovation, and social activities are among unallowable costs.
