As former editor of Giving USA and respected consulting researcher her commentary provides practical perspectives and actionable takeaways on the research. She founded her firm in 2011 and helps charities “turn knowledge into action” with program evaluation, planning, and research. Melissa is a highly rated national speaker, a faculty member of The Fund Raising School, and former chair of the Association of Philanthropic Counsel (APC).
