Summary:
The Foundation makes grants that help federal agencies, states, counties, cities and neighborhoods create more innovative, cost-effective responses to challenges facing children and young people: poverty, unnecessary disconnection from family and communities with limited access to opportunity. The Foundation’s Economic Opportunity focus area develops pathways for parents to become financially stable and support their children’s development and academic success. It supports programs that help low-income parents and other adults find good jobs and steady incomes.
