Grants Plus Appoints Dana Textoris CEO

National Fundraising Firm Names Leader Ahead of October National Women’s Small Business Month, Celebrates $250 Million Raised for Nonprofit Sector

Cleveland, OH – September 28, 2022 – Grants Plus announces today that Dana Textoris has been named CEO of Grants Plus. The appointment comes as the firm marks its 15th year in business serving nonprofits, and ahead of National Women’s Small Business Month in October.

Textoris has worked alongside the founder and owner of Grants Plus, Lauren Steiner, for nearly 10 years. Textoris’s appointment comes as Steiner has decided to concentrate on new strategies to mentor young professionals and influence the fundraising sector. In her time at Grants Plus, Textoris has led growth strategies for the firm, expanding its nonprofit client base and employee workforce to a national scale.

“Dana is the powerhouse that drove our national expansion over the past 10 years,” says Lauren Steiner, Founder and Owner of Grants Plus. “I am confident in what Grants Plus will accomplish under Dana’s perceptive leadership.”

Starting in March 2020, Textoris spearheaded the company’s COVID-19 response, to provide free pandemic fundraising resources to thousands of nonprofit organizations. Dana has also guided the firm’s anti-racist commitment. To advance equity in the broader fundraising field, Textoris serves on the DEI Taskforce of The Giving Institute, the prestigious body that produces the annual Giving USA Report.

“Grants Plus is unique for reaching success as a business and making a big social impact,” says Textoris. “I am proud of all that we have accomplished so far, and I am determined to realize even bigger wins in this next chapter for our team, our nonprofit clients, and the communities we serve.”

In her role as Grant Plus’s CEO, Textoris leads a team of women executives that includes Sarah Dave as Chief Operations Officer and Gail Dancy Heim as Chief Services Officer. Grants Plus has achieved recognition for its promotion of women leaders and family-friendly wellness policies, winning a Smart Women: Progressive Organization Award, and a Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award from the American Psychological Association.
