Engagement Specialist

As an Engagement Specialist, Allison serves as lead grant writer to her clients, preparing grant proposals, reports, and supporting materials. Based in Cleveland, Allison is a seasoned grant writer and grant program manager. Prior to Grants Plus, she spent 12 years as an orchestra administrator as the General Manager of Apollo’s Fire, a Cleveland-based baroque ensemble, and Assistant Artistic Administrator at the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. She recently served as a panelist for the National Endowment for the Arts. Allison holds degrees in music performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (BM) and Mannes College The New School for Music (MM). At Grants Plus, Allison has worked with clients including Cleveland Neighborhood Progress, the Cincinnati Eye Institute Foundation, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati, America SCORES Bay Area, Centrica Care Navigators, the Institute for Local Government, and Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care.
