Engagement Strategist

As an Engagement Strategist, Chris acts as a trusted advisor to our clients, meeting regularly to steer grant strategy, alignment, preparation, and submission to support the success of our clients and the well-being of the individuals and communities they serve. She has a multi-decade career working for and with nonprofit organizations in Minneapolis, MN and Austin, TX. Prior to her work with Grants Plus, Chris was an independent grant consultant working with nonprofit organizations primarily in affordable housing, health and human services, and the disability community. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from Michigan State University and a Master of Planning from the University of Minnesota. In her “off” hours, Chris is a fitness enthusiast and can usually be found on a trail, in or by the water, or at her community gym.
