Akron Community Foundation Nonprofit Insights Conference

Akron Community Foundation is hosting a nonprofit training conference on March 21, 2024 at the Hilton Akron/ Fairlawn. Registration information can be found here. The conference will feature keynote speakers April Walker, founder of Philanthropy for the People, and Steve Higgins, CFRE, President & CEO of Carter.

Sarah Dave and Dana Textoris of Grants Plus will host an interactive session on “Doing Good While Being Well: A Practical Guide for Nonprofit Professionals”.  The session will feature tips for understanding personal work styles (our own and others) to improve collaboration, and techniques for establishing clear expectations and boundaries with colleagues in the grant seeking process.
