We believe in doing more than helping our clients get grants. We believe in helping them fulfill their missions.
Our team has worked with hundreds of organizations across the country. Approximately 80% of our clients have been our clients for multiple years.
While we are adept at assisting a diverse range of grant seekers, our deepest experience is with these organization types:
Schools + Districts
We have the expertise and savvy to help schools and school districts identify their most “grant fundable” programs and initiatives, and match their funding needs to the most appropriate public and private funding opportunities. Example clients include:
I have used Grants Plus several times and frequently recommend their services to colleagues. Their grant funder research led directly to more focused development efforts and has been essential to our successful grant seeking programs for several years.

MENTAL HEALTH & ADDICTION ADVOCACY COALITION
When the staff and board of the Children’s Museum of Cleveland (CMC) sought to open a new history exhibit, Centuries of Childhood: An American Story, they recognized it was an opportunity to seek major federal grant dollars. Yet while CMC had a strong history of receiving grants from private foundations, the museum had never before secured a federal grant.
Recovery Resources is a leading provider of mental health and addiction services in Northeast Ohio. Since 2007, the organization has called on Grants Plus to supplement their in-house development staff with expert grant writing and prospect research assistance. Most recently, the group engaged Grants Plus to manage production of a complex and time-sensitive federal grant opportunity.
How would your organization use $100 million? That question could be daunting to some nonprofit leaders, but not to Brandon E. Chrostowski, Founder of EDWINS Leadership & Restaurant Institute. He’s been turning big dreams into reality since opening EDWINS in 2013 — a fine dining restaurant in Cleveland that is a culinary training ground for people leaving jail and prison.
Grants Plus was proud to partner with Beech Acres Parenting Center through an exhilarating multi-stage grant application process that resulted in a major new grant. The center has served Greater Cincinnati children and families for more than 160 years with a mission to inspire and equip today’s parents, families and communities to raise capable, caring, contributing children.
Debbie Hershey Guren, President of Montessori Development Partnerships (MDP), hired Grants Plus to identify potential grant funders and provide strategic guidance for a $6.23 million capital campaign to establish Cleveland’s first Montessori charter school. To find potential funders for the campaign, Grants Plus conducted a signature Funding Scan to investigate and recommend prospective corporate and foundation prospects.
Grants Plus has helped me rethink how I approach grant seeking. I rely on and trust their guidance.
