Grants Plus has worked in partnership with Beech Acres Parenting Center since 2015 and marked numerous accomplishments along the way. But we had special reason to celebrate together in summer 2016.
That was when Beech Acres announced a $1.1 million grant from Bethesda Inc., a major funder of health care transformation and co-sponsor of TriHealth, the leading integrated health delivery system in Southwest Ohio.
“We relied on the expertise and talent of the Grants Plus team,” said Kim Morris, Senior Development Officer at Beech Acres. “They were our true partners in this process.”
Beech Acres has used the grant to further the well-being of children. The goal is healthier child development and greater child and parent resilience.
“It’s exciting to help an organization secure a grant that will change people’s lives,” said Lisa Stofan, Grants Plus Executive Consultant, who works closely with the Beech Acres team. “I grew up right down the street from Beech Acres so I’m especially proud to see them win this funding.”
Beech Acres Parenting Center has served Greater Cincinnati children and families for more than 160 years with a mission to inspire and equip today’s parents, families and communities to raise capable, caring, contributing children. +
